A Few More Words...

About Me

I have always been a writer. I worked in public relations, advertising and as a journalist - publishing The Oklahoma Woman's Front Page News for 4 years. I am lucky enough to live in the great state of Oklahoma with my two dogs: Buster and Lindsey. They enjoy chasing birds, tossing bones in the air and tracking mud through out my house!

When I am not working on my first novel, I am busy being Grandma Candi. My friends and I love to travel and can be ready to hit the road in a matter of hours.

The older I get, the more free time I have to explore interests I left on the back burner while working and raising my two terrific kids. Today, I might be sitting next to you on an airplane; or caught thumbing through titles at a bookstore. I'm the 50 something woman in a t-shirt carrying flats of flowers out to her car.

My hands now look like my mother's though my thoughts are as quick and diverse as a teenager. Except when I have forgotten what ever it was I was supposed to remember.

You might take my opinion as criticism, but it is just my opinion.

I love my family. I love my dogs, I love my friends, I love my books, I love music with strong guitar riffs and contemplative lyrics, I love that, finally, I am happy with life, just as it is. Troubles just give me opportunity to practice my faith...and give me great stories.
